Stopped by Best Buy again today. Luckily it's been a different person every time I've stopped in so they aren't getting mad at me yet. ha ha. The guy who helped me today was super nice about it. He checked stock in the store, then in the Chicago area, then in the state of Illinois....nothing! He even started checking other states/cities "just for shi** and giggles" he said and found literally nothing. My wait for this device drags on.

As I said in another thread, when I accidentally destroyed my previous phone, I went into T-Mobile to buy The Edge but they were out of them. I needed a new phone, so I got the regular S7 and tried for over a week to convince myself that I liked it well enough. I kept calling and they kept saying they didn't have any in stock. Finally a couple of days ago, I called, and they had two. I was still within my 14 day return period for the S7, so I raced down to the store and returned it in exchange for a nice silver Edge.

When you consider screens that easily scratch or shatter, incessant useless notifications that won't go away, car mode that causes problems, led notifications that cannot be controlled reliably with the best apps, and a huge battery that still only delivers average battery time it is hard to understand the wait.

So stop buying them so I can get mine. LOL

As part of the domino effect, it turns out that some of the cases for this phone are also sold out on Amazon. I had to break down and buy one of the expensive ones at the local retailer to get one I like.

I'm pretty sure my Best Buy is still out of stock. I called almost everyday for a week and they were out...and when I was at work on Friday, there were NONE in our shipment, so I'm guessing we're still out. Other third party retailers just got it in on Friday though, so I got one through Diamond Wireless. The corporate Verizon store said they had a few black ones in stock, but I didn't want to schlep all the way down there when I could go to a store 5 minutes from my house...plus I dislike going to corporate Verizon stores.

I guess Samsung not only did a great job with the device this year they also did a great job with marketing.

I have never seem a Samsung device sold out a month after release, granted stock may be an issue due to all of the BOGO stuff, but still.

Gave up! Ordered mine tonight at Amazon. Ordered the Silver Titanium Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with Exynos 8890 processor. It'll be arriving this week.
