ive just noticed my s7 edge getting warm.
i always run it on power saving mode and low display brightness.
i was running the display slider about in between location and sound circles at the top of the screen on the slider.
i run no apps and basically just use the browser.
is anyone else having issues? its not warm that i cant touch and i know an lcd will get warm. it seems to be warm around the camera areas at the back.

The GS7 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which runs very hot. This seems unusual, even for the unreleased 880.

Download gsam it should tell you the temp

If it's getting hot like that you have something running in the background draining resources and causing high processor utilization and thus high heat

nope i dont run any app and disabled the junk system apps that came with it. it only done it once. i have a new s7 edge now due to dropping something on the screen so that one is now for sale lol

The SD820 variant doesn't run very hot at all. I throw tons of stuff at it and it seems the only way I can really heat it up is while Fast Charging.

I am very impressed with the heat management of this phone.

Mine doesn't get that warm I don't have any issues
