S7 Edge - Verizon preorders

have started reading reports today that some of those ordering through Best Buy have been called today and phone is available for pick up tomorrow.......

I had my card charged earlier today from Verizon for the price of my phone and I still haven't received my shipping info. I'm going to take my 30 business phone accounts and moving to AT&T. Harrumph!

Also, 2nd day air could possibly mean a Wednesday delivery. I'm not sure UPS has our packages yet. Just because Verizon processed the label it doesn't mean it was picked up yet. We (UPS) don't work Sundays. So someone has to pick it up and start it moving in the system. The label can be created and thus show a "shipped" status from Verizon, but most likely the reason no one has received an email from Verizon is that it's not actually left the warehouse. If that's the case tomorrow is ship day, +2 days movement would mean Wednesday. I hope not, but just don't want people turning their rage from Verizon to UPS come Tuesday.

I thought Verizon employees get their phones after all non-employee orders have gone out?

When I used to work for them employees was the same as customers. Price of phones and launch date, the only lyrics difference was the monthly bill. 50% off

Ordered Silver Edge on 2-23, no charge on bank yet, no change in My Verizon still processing... guessing if no status change yet today.. it won't be until tomorrow now.

The orders for silver phones must've been massive. I also ordered a silver but on the 23rd, been charged, and they updated the shipping date but no tracking # yet. Seems all the folks with tracking #s are for the non silver phones.

I ordered Silver on the 23rd, I still have 1858 date and my card hasn't been charged

Mine says "shipped" in the app, but I haven't seen a tracking number or anything from any other sources to check. My device agreement populated too. I'd be more satisfied if there was a tracking number.

I preordered just like the rest. We pay the same price as customers do for phones. Iphones are the only phones we aren't allowed to buy on launch.

Ah that makes sense. We were talking about iPhones when they mentioned how lucky I am I had a 6S Plus on launch day.

Ordered Black S7E and Black S7 on morning of 2/29. Just checked Verizon online account, I now have Status=Your order has been shipped, Shipment Date of 03/07 and a UPS Tracking #, with UPSGROUND2, but I'm not far from Memphis.

Also, My Verizon App has same info, and last time I checked earlier today, the MV App had the 1858 shipping date for my order.

My UPS still does not have it in their system, which means they will pick it up either later tonight or tomorrow.


UPDATE: I just pulled up my V Invoice, and the line item states:

SHP002 2 DAY BY 8PM

My fiancé actually got a call for his preorder at best buy today. They schedule him to come pick up tomorrow afternoon. He's on Sprint. When they called I asked the women if they were able to cover all their silver edge orders. She said no we got 4 preorders but only got 3 phones in.

I wonder if the stock issues with the silver phone improves the chances of Verizon not running out of promotional items. Not because the silver customers won't be able to cash in, thus giving the other colors an advantage, but since Verizon POSSIBLY could miss the launch date with total fulfillment of all preorders maybe they will make sure everyone gets what they wanted either the watch or the goggles. It would be a pr nightmare to miss the launch and also screw customers out of the promotion BECAUSE Verizon wasn't able to deliver on time. I realize it's first come first serve, but in times where facebook and Twitter are easy ways to vent publicly, maybe they'll realize the value in making this right
