S7 Edge - Verizon preorders

And the 300,000 units is why I just canceled my preorder and will stop in BestBuy later today and preorder there. On March 11th, I will walk out of BestBuy with my Silver Edge, a 64GB microSD, and a Gear VR. And I won't have to worry if I was one of the 300,000 that got to the Samsung site first to fill out their form and then wait 4-6 weeks for delivery.

The S2 watch sounds nice, but I like wearing my real watch.

It irritates me when people tell me how I should feel, especially after I drop $800+ for a device and accessories.

I hope I don't screw myself over but I cancelled my pre order from the phone which they guaranteed me the s2 but now they aren't and tomorrow I will pre order online I sure hope I didn't just screw myself

Well if it were March 13th and you were still waiting for your $800 device and accessories, that would be one thing. Completely justified. But you're complaining about them not being delivered EARLIER than the posted delivery/ship date. Highly illogical. If you really cannot wait, switch carriers and maybe you'll get it sooner.

My point is, We don't have to worry about them running out of S2s, Since it an exclusive to Verizon. So it doesn't matter when other carriers ship, Because they are only doing VR Headsets.

We should really be asking Samsung (not Verizon) or T-Mobile why they are allowing earlier shipments than the designated release date.

If this was Apple, it would be handled better as I understand Apple is very very strict on pre-order shipments. Likely to avoid the feelings you have with your current order.

Don't worry, I am anxious to get mine as well and seeing others get it is not comforting but it is understandable.

Because you can put it on eBay to subsidize the cost of the S7 Edge. even if you just get $150, you just reduced the price of the phone to $650.

What? The S7 Edge costs $13 more on Verizon than it does on T-Mobile ($792 vs. $779) so I'm not sure what you mean by "$299 edge." And I'll take the Gear S2 over the VR every time - even if you don't want the S2, you can probably sell it for more money than the VR, especially since everybody and their mother is going to be trying to sell the free VR.

People are just saying be patient. There's no reason to be upset over having to wait a few extra days. Instead of being jealous just be happy for the people who got their's early

That has to be a mistake, I ordered mine today just a couple hours ago and I have the 11th as the ship date.

So did mine. I called Verizon and the CS rep talked to the warehouse higher ups and they said there is no reason why that date should have been changed. May be a system glitch.

The product page for the phones still say 3/11. Keeping my fingers crossed for a glitch or typo. Maybe someone meant to enter 3/3/16
