I never did anything like that except for the bloatware that I have disabled through Application Manager. I did format the phone and it's still the same way.
Extremely laggy on the chrome and recent activity UI, and it only gets worse. I'm on the phone with Verizon right now and I'm having them ship a replacement. I love the camera on this phone though that's for damn sure.
For a chrome? Absolutely! It's only 1 more day and you get the Edge only color that so many folks here have raged over.
That's odd. I know it's a pain in the **** to list but what apps do you have running? It could easily be a rogue app(s) that can cause the phone to go haywire.

It's the same apps I had running on my S6 Edge+ nothing fancy. Chrome, Dropbox, YouTube, Instagram, Waze, Facebook, Hangouts, Stock Email, Whatsapp... Even upon reboot of phone with no other apps open and just Chrome by itself, it's still pretty seriously and horribly laggy.
I'm going to do a pure clean format without transferring data and stuff over from my S6 Edge+ and see where that gets me... Maybe it's some old settings that gets copied over that effs it up. I don't know.
I was actually going to ask you if you ran Smart Switch. Do a clean format, skip the Google account part so it doesn't sit there adding all your apps, and then see how Chrome behaves.

Okay... This seems better. Still not as fast as the S6 Edge+ but maybe just because it's still updating stuff but much more bearable. I guess the Smart Switch somehow effed it all up for me.

Yeah I started getting errors with that today when I was setting up my phone so I just stopped it, reset the phone, and manually did everything. I even went so far as to not allow Google to install apps automatically and just did it manually. Let me know how it works out for you. I'm off to bed as well.

I'm messing with it and giving the long charge. Plus, my 22,000 text messages were still transferring over the buddy bumping link lol. Buddy bumping = Android Beam haha.
