See on another news feed that Verizon has approved an update for the S7/S7e that we should be seeing soon. Nothing on my phone yet, still says it's up to date.

Re: May update for Verizon Coming

Yea, mine just downloaded also. Didn't take very long to download so doesn't seem to be that large.

Re: May update for Verizon Coming

Just updated, brings phone to May 1 security patch.

Does anyone know if FM Radio was enabled like on the T-Mobile variant? I'm guessing no cause VZW always disables it :(

This update states that it fixes the SD card notification pop ups. I did have the pop up upon reboot but I believe that's normal. Keeping fingers crossed this may finally be fixed.

since the update...now it won't allow me to unlock with fingerprint when locking with double tap (Grenify & hibernate)? anyone else?

I didn't see anything in the update notes specifically mentioning anything about the "touch screen sensitivity update" that was released a month or so ago from Samsung for the s7e so I guess that update is still working its way through VZ's approval process

ANd I was so worried that my sim tray was open!
HA HA joking Downloading for me now

Same here. Before update, I could use screen off and lock app to lock screen with one tap and then unlock with fingerprint right after. Now I have to enter password unless I use lower key.

I know that's how Android is set up when using fingerprint scanner, but it sucks.

My android system is lower than my screen now on my battery stats. But after the update, it said the update failed but everything went through. Haha. Any ideas why?

It also installed DT ignite which Verizon failed to include in the change log.

Absolutely correct, it did install DT ignite. However I read on one of the Android news sites about this happening so I immediately disabled it. Everyone should.
