S7 Edge vs LG V20: Which phone has a better camera?

I recommend the Edge, hands down. The V20 has a great camera but nothing compares to a Samsung camera, IMO.

The shutter is slow when you're using HDR. If you turn HDR off you should be able to get pics of your kids... Or you can do a burst shot by holding the button down.

The interesting part with that i had the s7 edge and v20..i recently sold my s7 edge due to a better experience overall with the v20...i disagree with you that it blows away every other camera i have taken better shots many times with the v20 ... I think it comes down to personal preference

I haven't any issues with snapshots

A ton of it lies within the skill and style of the person holding it as well as the subject.

I still haven't messed around with the camera too much but it definitely doesn't seem as dummy proof as the S7. If I'm being honest, I thought my S6 took better pictures than my S7 Edge though. Thanks for the tip about HDR, Jeremiah. I took a couple pics of my nephew playing with my dog a while back and they came out blurry and I was kind of annoyed. I'll definitely try turning that off next time and eventually, I'll try to really dive into the camera settings on this phone.

for sure.. it might work for you, and then again, it might not. haha I've been impressed with the flash too, so I've had flash on auto and hdr on auto lately. But if I know I don't need either, I just change them before I do my picture taking.

Absolutely, it does! I totally respect your thoughts. That was only my personal opinion on the matter. I'm excited to see what LG does in the future.

Same here. I used to have the S7. Camera focus speed was great, so was low light. However, the V20 took better photos overall. I take a lot of outdoor landscape photos and the V20 photos were much better looking. If you have issues with the V20 focus speed, set camera to manual and set shutter speed to 1/50.
