S7 says its connected to a USB

I'm not sure what happened but since last night it's been saying that it's connected to a USB and it's not. I've restarted it.. even connected it to my computer (file transfers worked) and no matter whether it's on or off the connection it says it's still connected to USB and would like me to choose what options to use. (Camera, Media, and Charging).

I've been googling like crazy but everyone just can't figure out how to connect it.

The port is probably dirty - try blowing it out with canned air (nothing stronger). If that doesn't clear it up, it needs a repair shop.
