S7E burn in?

So I'm looking for a N7 replacement and seriously considering the S7E. I noticed the display at the store has noticable burn in from the home screen. Is this typical?

It is a potential problem with any amoled display......the S7E and the N7 both use that type of screen.....don't leave a static image on the screen for long intervals, and back the brightness down and it should last a long time......display phones have a hard life, and you will find many suffering burn in.

Thanks! Didn't realize it when I bought the N7 but it makes sense. No stranger to burn in given my history with TVs.
