Note 7 should be released with the next couple of months so unless you need a phone right away uummmm ..........I would wait.

Its basically the same phone with a bigger screen and a nrw touchwiz not sold. Why not a bigger size then our note 5 and also not a copy of the Edge 7

Not even a month away. Aug 2 is the Samsung reveal. Shortly after it should come out.

From the rumors it sounds similar to the S7 Edge, so if it is and you don't need the spen or the large screen, go for the S7 Edge. Or stick with a previous Note.

I would wait myself. I know it's hard to do. But it's only a short time away. It would suck if you got the s7edge then saw the note 7 and wished you go that instead.

Very true my wife has the s7 and it doesn't feel like a huge upgrade from the Note 5. Reports say the Note 5 will have the same snapdragon as the edge 7 which isn't anything to make me want to get the Note 7

If the 7 has the snapdragon then I will probably hold off, I just had a S7 briefly and it is laggy compared to my Note 5 with a exynos cpu.

At this point I'm more tempted to get an Exynos-powered S7E over the N7.

I personally would wait and see what the note 7 will offer. If you don't like it, the edge is a great device!

I did a lot of reading on the Note 7 last week and it sounds sweet but decided I still have 8 installments to pay on my Note 5. It's been running excellent since the MM Update so I'll just "wait and see" what the Note 7 brings, both good or bad - I've got time!!! Patience abounds as you get (66) older! (one of the only advantages )
