S7E phone on At&t

I have a S7E phone that was on At&t.
Got a unlock code.
Put a verizon sins card and put it in the phone, it asked for the unlock code.
I put it in and it said successful.

It will not connect to Verizon network.
Is that because I need to change the VPN numbers over to verizon too .

At&t can only be unlocked to other GSM carriers like T-Mobile, straight talk, etc. It will not work with CDMa like Verizon or Spring. For that you would actually have to get a phone with CDMA bands which neither At&t or T-Mobile have

APN not VPN.
And as Iva_LadyDiCaprio98 mentioned its GSM vs CDMA.
You MIGHT be able to get some stuff to work with Verizons LTE network if you update the APN settings. But i wouldnt rely on that. Sell the phone or use T-Mobile.

Only thing you can use it for is straight talk if you get an att card from them. I did it and my s8 edge is fine.

Or any of their MVNO. Cricket, Straight Talk. MetroPCS.
