Check your network setting under mobile network. Make sure your network mode is set correctly. Verizon usually is set to global. Network name should have your carrier listed. Go into Access point names and make sure you have one selected.. I have in the past had problem when moving from one cell tower to the next. I have verizon and have changed my network mode to LTE/GSM/UMTS. This has helped me when in low signal areas. Keep in mind these are preconfigured settings from your carrier. Can and will revert back to original settings. Also check advanced calling features to allow HD voice and video
