S8+ or S9

I currently have a S6 Active on Straight Talk and I'm really wondering if I should get the S8+ or the S9. I've used the S8+ before for only a week and I loved it. I'm big on battery life and I know that the S8+ has the better battery life. The S9+ is not available in my area so that's why I only have the S8+ and the S9 to choose from. What do you guys think?

S8 and S9 are pretty much the same phone. S8 cheaper too. If you were asking whether to get an S7 or S8, I'd definitely say S8, because the difference in those two phones is much bigger than S8 v. S9.

So with all the new features and guts on the S9, does that still make the S8+ better than the regular ?S9

No. I think you could make the argument that the S9 is better than the S8+ based on your statement that the S9 has more features. I'm just saying that the 2 phones are similar enough to justify buying the S8+ instead of the S9. And it's cheaper.
