2. My screen doesn't seem pink really, but it doesn't really seem white either. I've been trying to mess with the color balance settings.

11. Have you tried Good Lock in Samsung's App Store? It lets you customize the colors in the Quick Settings/Notification pull down. I don't remember being able to change the size of the font, but you can add more contrast. I haven't searched for it on my S8+ yet. I assume it's still available though.

I can't find Good Lock in the Galaxy app store. When did you install it?

Got my S8+ yesterday morning, charging it up now to do a real battery test on a full day, wasn't super impressed with battery life yesterday (and I came from a GS6), but I want to see how it is without all the setup stuff and now that I've fully tweaked the settings to maximize battery life.

The is gorgeous as we knew, and I'm loving the size, thought the + would be a little big by the reviews, etc. but it's great for me (for the very most part I can admit one or two things have been a slight stretch).

The iris scanner is great as everyone says, I'm blown away by how well/quickly it works. I have big hands and I'm a lefty so the finger print scanner is no issue for me (with either hand) though I was never planning on using it per usual (too many sci-fi movies, lol).

I know it's still super early and not everyone has even gotten the phone yet, but any figures yet or takes on how the infinity wallpapers and AOD in general are affecting battery life?

Current download speeds on T-Mobile. Loving the phone so far

Can't complain about my speeds either. However, I think Michigan is in the next wave of the increased speed rollout next month or so.

Midnight Black S8 Plus



This is a beautiful phone and it looks very elegant and sexy. I love the ALL BLACK on this phone, finally someone got it right. This is the 1st phone that I really don't want to put a case on it because it's too sexy (Yes it's in a case, I don't want to hurt Sasha!)... I also like that the included accessories are black as well. The screen is as everyone else is stating: AWESOME, right out the box. I'm sure once I change the quality to the highest setting it'll get even better. Holding the phone is tricky for me because, its very light compared to my iPhone 7 Plus. Even with the case I have on, it's like I'm not even holding a phone in my hand. It's like holding my Roku Remote. I don't have a screen protector, but I think I may invest in one just to prevent scratches (I got one on my iPhone 7 and it almost drove me crazy). I may end up going to dBrand to purchase a skin and say goodbye to cases.

Now so far the phone is running smooth and fast as expected. Setting it up was very easy. The Finger Print is NOT I repeat NOT as bad as everyone was making it. Yes, it's in a different spot, but I do not have a hard time finding the sensor. I can see how it would be a challenge for those with very small hands.

I'm happy to have a headphone jack again. Sometime I rather use my Beats plugged in. Or just being able to grab a pair of headphones I have lying around and plug them in is a plus.

I just can't get over how right this phone is. It seems too good to be TRUE. As with all things, time will tell how this phones holds up. So far I'm very pleased with this phone.

I looked for it after I sent that message and couldn't find it either. I had it on my Note 7. Maybe They've discontinued it. Bummer.

My only real complaint would be that as much as I like the stock keyboard, the voice typing (through Bixby I guess?) Is laughably bad. It was SO off at times. Installed Gboard and did usual Google voice typing and it was as good as always. I hope they fix that if they expect anyone to use Bixby haha.

My same thoughts. The samsung keyboard in general just isn't easy to use espeically if you're used to google keyboard. Tried it for 24 hours and had to switch back. The voice typing was awful as well. Bixby can't catch up to google.

Those that have it, can you have FP unlock and iris scan unlock turned on at the same time? The thing I'm not sure will be good with iris scanner is using samsung pay and having to authorize with iris scan instead of just having your finger on fp sensor while paying. thanks in advance.

Yes I believe so. You can only have one face unlock type at a time though (facial recognition or iris scanning).

The AOD screen when using one of the infinity wallpapers seems to freeze. If this normal?
The little starry background behind the clock moves once, then stays there.
So, basically, it's a static image after it shifts once. I found it to be very annoying, so I just went to a normal wallpaper.

Yes, I found that happen with me too. It just looks like something is wrong with the AOD but it's just the stars. I'm considering just putting up a normal wallpaper.

Had my S8 about 7 hours now. I agree with all of the positive comments I have read previously. I can't believe Verizon does not have a logo anywhere on this phone. I came from a Note 4 and feel I have stepped into the future. The set up was quick and easy. After set up I had to run to the store, so jumped in my car and paired up the bluetooth. Very easy. Then when I started streaming music from Google Play Music the quality was simply amazing. It sounds like I have a whole new sound system in my car. I look forward to others trying this and seeing if they notice any difference. This new bluetooth 5 is simply amazing, or I was just so excited to get the phone the music sounded better. Chime in if you notice a difference. I don't see anyone commenting on this yet. Enjoy everyone. Now, time to take my new S8 to bed and try out the blue light filter!

Your car stereo would need to support Bluetooth 5.0 to bring any improvements and unless you bought it very recently, it won't. It's almost certainly the better DAC that is making the difference for you.

Anyone have issues trying to post photos on here from Google Photos (web, not on phone storage)? It starts to download then says can't open file. If I move it to the phone it then can be posted

Wow haha... i just did mine and got 7.65 down and 4.28 up...Verizon in Chandler, Arizona. Why am I spending so much for Verizon again!?
