S8 Slow and sometimes not responding system. Codec error ond videos. No soud on anything now either

[Android Central Question]

Started a week ago with my S8 running slow and freezing at times.
Storage was full so deleted some apps and videos to make space.
Went worse really slow and unresponsive message system ui has stopped. Close it wait for app.
Then a few days later I was unable to hear videos due to codec error(cant remember exactly)
Couple of days later no sound on anything. Apps, ringtone nothing.
Tried did the speaker test *#0*# no sound. restarting. optimising. Making more space. deleting recent apps. Clearing phone catche and rebooting. About to back everything up and factory reset.

Anyone have any ideas?

Try safe mode , also if your using a SD card pull it out and see if it's ok .
