I'm currently using the LG V20, coming from the Note 4. I skipped the 5 out of anger because of no replaceable battery and IR blaster. But looking at the S 8 reviews, and my true longing for the S-Pen, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting the Note 8. The S 8 plus looks nice.

I'm getting an LGv20 tomorrow from ups. I planned to get it since it was on sale through Tmpbile, and I was going to hold onto 7edge to jump to Note 8. Wonder if my best buy by work has s8 phones on display

I hate to say it but I bet the Note 8 will be similar in size to the S8+ if not a bit larger folks so be ready!

I would not mind if it is as tall as the S8+, but they should widen it a little bit to compensate for the tallness.

I don't want the phone any bigger. If they make it bigger I might not get it. I saw the S8 plus at bestbuy yesterday and loved it but that's as big of a phone I'm willing to carry around. They should keep note 8 same dimensions as Note 7 and just put on infinity display.

Well that better be at least as big or bigger having a note 8 smaller than that would be ridiculous I don't think anybody would buy it

Wider will mean taller if they are to keep the 2x1 aspect ratio. That will make the phone just too freaking tall. If that end up being the case, I might pick up an S8 Plus on discount around Black Friday. I got a killer deal on my Coral Blue S7 edge last black Friday.
