I hate the S8 aspect ratio. Any indication if Note 8 will have the same ratio screen? Just fix the damn Note 7, pop in an 835, call it a Note 8. I don't want a silly long thin phone.

I sure hope the Note 8 has at least a slightly wider body. The S8Plus is a nice overall size but to me the regular S8 is too skinny

They both have the same skinny ratio that wastes space since apps are designed for normal ratio

Microsoft changed the ratio for the Surface Pro 3 tablet to a wider ratio after learning from their previous models that the wider ratio was better for a writing device. Hopefully Samsung follows this logic.

Agree. The shinny black on sides and top/bottom doesn't look premium. Anyway, I have made up my mind to hold on to my Coral Blue S7 Edge for the time being and wait for Note 8. Was not an easy decision but it's the right one, that I know.

I'm waiting too. To be frank, I find S8+ width a bit too small for my liking, believe Note 8 will be closer to my ideal size.

The Note 8 have to be a little wider to hold the spen.

Seen the S8 and the S8 Plus this morning.
S8 Plus has a little larger screen than the S7E.

They also said anything that is said about the Note 8 is PURE SPECULATION.

Nobody knows nothing about the Note 8.
