S9+ Blows Pixel 2 XL Out of the Water!!

I hope all knows I'm kidding lol... I think they're both great phones! Imo they are the 2 best phones available right now! It all has to do with preferences.

Having an S9(which I love) I'm now considering getting a Pixel 3 in October(if its released then like I think it'll be).
I need to go to the Casino ASAP cause I've been on a lucky streak - horseshoe up my *** n' all lol!!! I won the PS4 VR Skyrim bundle from AC(Thanks again!) then I just won the 5000$ Best Buy Shopping spree from filling out the survey on the receipt after buying a new case for my S9 I thought it was a scam when I got it Fed Ex'd this morning but called corporate and it's legit! I asked them the odds and they said it varies but they give one away every 3 months and 1.4 million people entered for this one!!! BOOM
I'm sorry for hijacking this thread but am SUPER SUPER excited!!!!!!

I gotta say, I had a chance to hold/look at my boyfriend's brother's S9 recently, and it is a beautiful phone - especially the Lilac version! Can definitely see why it'd be a worthwhile purchase.

I have the Lilac I have a Spigen Ultra Hybrid CLEAR case on it but it still manages to mute the color somewhat

There's things people like and hate about the S9+ and there's things people like and hate about the Pixel 2 XL. Neither one is better than the other.

I prefer the Pixel 2 XL because of regular software updates. That's important to me in a device and it may not be important for other people.

And yet you chose to participate in it. It's created a conversation with people's opinions (like yours). What's pointless are those people on Amazon that answer questions about a product with "I don't know".
I'm not a stickler about regular software updates.

When I said "pointless", I meant the whole which is better the S9+ or Pixel 2 XL talk. It's pointless. It's all subjective.

As for my short list
First... A Samsung - 55" Class - LED - Q6F Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR
I want the 65" one but this one is on sale for 999.99$ - 500$ off! Don't wanna spend all 5 grand at once lol. Only problem is I hope its still on sale when I'm able to buy stuff. Apparently there is a lengthy process making sure you or anyone in your family isn't associated with Best Buy in any way at all!
Next I might get the PS4 Pro instead of waiting for the PS5 to use with my VR Bundle and I'll have the 4k TV too
If there isn't a time limit on when it has to be spent I might just get a Pixel3 if they come out in October... There is just so much I want though lol but that's the short list as of now which will probably change several times... Maybe a laptop or Chromebook and some headphones too. I just don't know

No thread is pointless if it breeds cordial discussion - it's all perspective and we can agree or disagree. It's just like I'm a believer that there is no such thing as a stupid question if you don't know the answer.
