Android Central Question

Hi, I've just bought a Galaxy S9 and find that if the phone is locked, I can't answer phone calls and can't dismiss my alarm in the morning either. The screen is unresponsive.

I can see the calls and also the alarm taking place, but nothing happens when I select any options to answer the call or dismiss the alarm.

Any ideas?

Do you press or swipe? Because you're supposed to swipe them. Pressing won't do anything.

Erm, I may be a bit old and confused but I don't get many calls and usually panic when I pressing answer wont work. So, apologies if this is a dumb question but swipe left, right, up or down?

Anywhere. Just swipe the green button any direction.

You can also use "Press Volume up to answer" in the "Answering and Ending Calls" menu.

I used to be able to answer calls from the lockscreen but then it stopped working. You may need to enable the following after the last update. Go here and: Turn on, set "single tap", then turn off (unless you want the floating menu).
