S9 Display Problem

Hi guys, first time poster here.

My S9 had this display problem twice now. It happens at random. It was just on my desk then when I tried opening it, this shows up. It gets fixed by doing a soft reset (power + vol down). Wondering if this has happened to others. Also, is this a hardware or a software problem? Any advice? Thanks guys.

Have you tried booting in to safe mode and see if it happens there?

Looks like the display LCD ribbing cable loosed .. or broken ..
If it's still under warranty, bring it back for another one .. or call Sam for repair .

Don't want to scare you, but my Galaxy Tab S tablet had the same problem. It gradually was becoming worse and worse and one day it finally gave up. They told me it's the motherboard.

Good thing it is still under warranty. Thanks. Imma have to have this replaced.
