I've been using the LG V30 since May now and feel the tingle to switch to something different. I've had nothing but issues with LG devices. My previous phone was an LG G6. Worst phone I've ever had. Anyways I think the Galaxy S9 Plus would be a great choice as I used to be a Samsung guy and always had pretty good success with their devices. The GS5 was the best phone I've ever had. But... I've heard lots of qualms about the battery life on the S9+. Giving that my current V30 has a battery size of 3,300 MAH which gets me through the entire day, wouldn't the S9+ be able to achieve that and more? Doesn't it have a 3,500 MAH battery? I've heard of lots of other negative issues about the device as well. How many people have issues with their phone? What do you guys think? Worth it or no?

And I'm not interested in purchasing the S10. Especially if it's going to be a foldable device before anyone says anything of that degree lol

hmmm. I'm happy with it. I think I'm glad I got the 9+, though, instead of the 9. That was one of my considerations, and I think I did the right thing--if that puts it into context.

It also depends on how much you use the phone.

Some days I find it using a lot of power; I've seen it down to 15% in the early evening. Other days it's still around 50%. I wonder if some rogue process doesn't kick in now and then. (I also see similar behavior on my MacBook Pro.) So, I restart it if I think that's happening.

My judgment is clouded a bit because I'm in the car a decent amount, using Android Auto--plugged in.

The S10 isn't going to be foldable, that phone is different (some are calling it the "Galaxy F").
