S9 screen stayed on all night long

[Android Central Question]

This S9 is a flaky device. The screen stayed on all night long. I did have an app open and the phone was on charger. That may have been the cause.

And you can always hit the power button to turn the screen off.

Some apps don't let the screen sleep, that's the same on any operating system.

Welcome to Android Central! Also, check if your Developer Options are turned on, and if so, if the Keep Awake option is turned on. That prevents the screen from turning off as long as the phone is plugged in.

I agree with B.Diddy make sure those settings are off in developers setting
