Safe Mode

Every time I turn my phone off it comes back in safe mode. I wouldn't mind this if it didn't log me out of all services.

Are you holding the phone when you restart? If you hold the menu softkey as the phone is booting up, particularly right after the softkeys themselves light up, it will take you into safe mode.
