Safe to use cable adapters with old cables?

I've been reading a lot about crappy type c cables being not good for the note 7 and possibly ruining the device. Is it safe to use my old micro usb cables with the included adapters that come with the note 7?

And is it safe to use them with my old samsung charger that came with my S3? It won't fast charge, but it should charge at the normal pace, no?

Yes you can use,If your micro usb and type c are genuine or compatible with your phone . Then there is no issue. But if your using not gunuine products it might be some problems . During attachment (not reading properly , etc.)
