Not all usb-c cables are created the same. Benson Leung at Google has reviewed numerous cables, and there are quite a few non-compliant cables. These cables can result in weird, or even dangerous behavior.

Recommended USB Type-C Legacy Cables:https://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5296995 (Benson's Amazon Profile)
You guys can also follow his Google+: https://plus.google.com/+BensonLeung/posts

The USB C Adapter I bought from Tronsmart:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018S827GU?tag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5296995
The C TO A Cable I bought from iOrange:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010VFFU1...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5296995

If you don't want to risk anything make sure you always use the compliant cables/adapters:)

I have Apple laptop that uses USB-C and I would feel safe with one recommended as supporting MacBook etc that relies on one. Anker 60W 5-port with USB-C

So I got my extra cable from spigen today with a case. Which single or double car charger should I get?

I can still plug my wife's iPhone 5s into the new car charger if we get a double right? This C stuff is all new to me.

And I can use the new cable to plug into my hp laptop? Thanks ahead

Just didn't want to get a usb-c charger for the car and she plug her regular iPhone cable into it and mess anything up. Looks like I'm behind on research lol

There's a fast wireless car charger on Amazon that's pretty cool. Doesn't charge fast when the screen is on though. Saves wear on your usb port too.

Hi, can someone tell me if this car charger will support Quick Charge? Or can recommend another device similar like this one that is small?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B2BMIMS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A142BGUZC6UH73

It does support quick charge 2.0 and 3.0. It quick charges my Note 5 quickly now (via fast-charge). I think there might still be some uncertainty with the Note 7 , USB C, and various chargers in relation to charging speeds though.
