And I understand that it's stored in an add'l location, but why must everything be so complicated?? Things used to make sense - now they don't. I wish phones/clouds were more user friendly. Guess I just need to become a hermit & live off the land..... LOL

Which phone do you have? Are you saying that if you edit any contact that's currently saved, you can no longer delete it afterwards? Are the contacts being saved to your Google account, or the local Phone account?
