What does this mean. Does the same phone work on both AT&T and Verizon and get full use of all the bands? Or are these 2 separate phones.

LG V20 US996 64GB Smartphone GSM & Verizon Unlocked Phone, Titan,5.5" 5.7", 2016, RAM Memory

Mitten, so, the US996 will work on either but will it use everything each carrier has to offer?

Visual Voicemail (correction: This may be available by sideloading an app, depending on your carrier), Enhanced Calling (also known as Voice over LTE or VoLTE), and WiFi Calling (Voice over WiFi) are three features that are very commonly restricted to carrier-specific builds of any phone, because each carrier's implementation of them are a little different and those differences are baked into the carrier's firmware. There may be others I am not thinking of at the moment.

If these things matter to you, then phones are generally not interchangeable. If they don't, then the only thing you need to worry about is carrier protocols and frequencies.

I have the US996 LG V20 which I'm using on AT&T. I got the AT&T visual voicemail app from APK Mirror, and it works flawlessly.

Thank you, I corrected my post regarding Visual Voicemail.

Few use the other two, but I am one of them (semi-rural user in poor signal area, and my repeater can't cover all of my house adequately, so WiFi calling is *the* way my phone works at home).

I've never tried the other two, since I live in the city where signal isn't an issue at all.
