Sam's Club is Killing Me!

I pre-ordered the Droid Maxx from Sam's Club because it was $100 off but, the waiting is making not it worth it. I wish they would give me an ESTIMATE of when it MIGHT ship. All the website tells me is that the shipping date is TBD when stock arrives.

It's not just Sam's, all third parties are doing it. It would be great if it got into my hand soon but to me, the savings is worth the bit of patience.

I walked in and bought one at 5PM on launch day at a corp store. Sales guy said it was the first one he sold. As long as you don't mind dealing with the sales guy and the hard sell on accessories it might be the only way right now to get one today assuming they still have them in the stores. Might be worth calling around.

I did the same, walked in last Wednesday and bought the phone. I learned my lesson last year when I pre ordered the GS3. I was still waiting on my phone while others posted they walked in on launch day and bought the phone.

I learned that same lesson. That is why I resisted this time. And it was nice to actually check the phone out at the store before pulling my credit card out.

The only reason I purchased through Sam's Club was that it was $199.94 for the Maxx.

Well then, your going to have to wait. Personally, its not worth it for me but I can understand that it makes a difference to some.

Waiting on My Newegg Pre-order. Got it for $179.99, I will be selling my DNA so no rush. Saving $120.00 worth it to me, plus I feel like I'm talking to a used car salesman in the corporate stores.
