Sam's Club: Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

Re: Note 8 Pre-Order Deal from Sam's Club

I've seen the pre-order threads for the various carriers and also one for Best Buy, but didn't see one for Sam's Club.

If you pre-order before 9/24 you will receive the standard choice of: Galaxy Gear 360 Camera or Wireless Charging Cradle + 128GB MicroSD Card.

In addition to that, you also receive a $200 Sam's Club gift card.

In addition to that, if you pre-order between 9/15 - 9/17, Sam's Club will waive your activation fee (up to $40).

Of all the various offers I've seen so far, this one looks like the best of the bunch, with Best Buy coming in 2nd. I'm not one to pre-order, I usually prefer to let a phone hit the market and let others be the test dummies and identify any glitches, bugs, or exploding batteries, but this deal might be too good to pass up.

Check it out.

the pre-order thread is with the other threads at the top - a sticky - that says pre-order threads.

Re: Note 8 Pre-Order Deal from Sam's Club

Already shipped, I'll see on Tuesday

Oh, that's really quick. I suspect that I'll be waiting a while to receive mine. Not sure how quickly Sam's gets them out to people but I've heard Best Buy is kind of slow to deliver pre-orders so I can't imagine Sam's being any faster. I don't mind waiting a little while longer though given the free stuff/savings.

I ordered my note 8 through sams club for the pre order. but after I did it. it said I was on the wait list. So would I still get it on the 15?

I am wondering the same thing I order mine and it told me I wss on the wait list.so dose that mean I'll still get it on 15 or not? If not was thinking going to best buy cuz they said I could have it the day it comes out if I order it through them

I pre-ordered my Note 7 and S8+ at Sams because of the $200 gift card and waived activation fee but the $425 (or least up to $425) credit from Samsung for previous Note 7 owners was too good to pass up this time around...

I got my pre-order in at a local Sam's Club, Best Buy and Target just in case. I'm hoping that Sam's is the first to call me so I can get the $200 gift card. I'll be switching from AT&T to Sprint, so I should be able to get the 50% off deal as well. At least that's what Sam's Club and Best Buy have both told me. Here's to hoping I get my phone on Friday!

I gave up my Sam's Club spot so that phone, midnight black, will be going to one of you in my area. enjoy!

Can you also still get the Verizon trade-in credit for the Note 5 of $480 with the Sams Club deal? So it would be the $200 Sams Club gift card, waived activation, Samsung free gift(s) and the ability to trade-in your old phone too? From what I know, you can get the $150 Best Buy deal (plus the Samsung free gift(s)) and also trade-in your old phone for the applicable credit within two weeks after you get your new Note 8 from BB. Thanks!

I am wondering the same thing. Is the preorder a direct purchase or monthly payments? The trade in program is specifically a monthly credit until the phone is paid off. Can anyone give some feedback?

if they're like Costco they only offer installment, but you can pay it off early through your carrier.

I traded in my phone on the Next Att plan and go the note on payments. Should have the same options you have with your carrier. You do need to pay off any early upgrade fees before you go.

I was on the waiting list too and wasn't expecting a phone call for this weekend, but I was able to pick mine up yesterday.

The guy said I was the first person to show up and that they had a ton of cancellations. I'm guessing people probably pre-ordered through several outlets and went with whichever came in first.

Fine by me. :-)
