Hi Guys.

My tablet as started flickering and randomly rebooting, but since I turned on power saving mode, the problem as gone away, why would that be?.

Thanks in advance.

didn't work, anymore idea's. as soon as I turned power saving back on everything works fine again

Thanks for the link but I'm afraid that's beyond me,
it seems to be working OK in power saving mode I'll just leave on that, also what am I missing out on having power saving mode turned on ?

That will depend on the device, since different manufacturers may do different things with the power-saving modes. The more aggressive the power-saving, the more you might notice things like missed notifications while the phone is asleep, or throttled CPU performance.

The fact that it still happens in Safe Mode makes me think that a factory reset won't help. But if you've exhausted all other possibilities, it may be worth trying.

Flickering and random reboot is due to loose battery connection. This problem can fix easily with a knife and magnified glass,
You need to use a thin knife to squeeze the opening of battery cables as close as possible. Search youtube for video how to replace battery, it will show how to open your tablet

If it's beyond your ability, then change a new battery which normally has a tight connectors. But this problem will happen again if the new one has the same wide opening as your current one.
This problem happens to many Samsung tablets, not just this model.
This one has a good contact with battery connector on mainboard

This one, two cables on the left side, have no contact

@Beut, can you think of why the flickering would go away with Power-Saving Mode turned on?

Thanks for that, but it works OK in power saver mode, if it was a problem with the battery, the flickering and random reboot would still happen?

Try to squeeze the tip of battery cables , you will see the difference. This is not a guessing opinion as I did fix many tablets with this problem. The two pictures above can tell the obvious difference.
