Samsng galaxy A5 dropped, screen black and doesn't work

Hi! i have a brand new samsung A5, it was working fine until i accidently dropped it.
the screen immediatly turned black, and the display seems to be unresponsive.
the phone would still charge, and connects to the pc and i still would get messages and notifications. i tried restarting it by pressing and holding the power and volume- down buttons, but that didn't solve the problem.
is there anything i could do?

Welcome to Android Central.

You've already tried a hard reset which would have been my suggestion. Since that didn't work my other suggestion is take it to a repair center to have it looked at. Thanks.
