Samsung $150 Gift Credit

According to Samsung, taken with a grain of salt, the promo code will not work with a preorder. However once available for sale, it can be used. So, I shall wait. The code doesn't expire until December anyway.

Alright, I will wait. :)

I've owned the S3, Watch, and soon Active 2. I can tell you that I don't miss MST at all. Most vendors/businesses have machines now that support nfc. So, with all the new features you get on the new models, its worth it and is an upgrade.

The new watches are not an upgrade from the S3. Taking away mst in samsung pay is definitely a downgrade.

In NYC most don't have that and I'd rather have the option to use it anywhere and embarrass cashiers who tell you it won't work.

For that I just use my phone. It's way more awkward to pay with the wrist anyway the way the terminals are set up. I do agree it would have been nice to have MST on the watch, BUT unless you're really into leaving your phone behind (and paying the exorbitant amount of almost-double-the-price for the LTE version...it's listed as 450 for the base LTE model at BestBuy), does it really matter VS the heavily improved sensors and digital bezel?

PS: For those asking, yes, the promo codes do not work for pre-orders (so no free wireless battery pack unless you pre-order outright). Not sure if the free battery will apply only for pre-orders or if it will still include it when it's released a the end of the month (once it's on sale, the code CAN be applied, as they stated above).

That's what I do, is use my phone for those rare times a vendor doesn't take nfc. But these days its rare for me.

I got $200 through pre-order with Samsung, and then my wife got $150 for Verizon pre-order. She couldn't see anything she wanted, so I paid her $150 cash for hers. I tried to place one large order with both codes, but it would only take my code. So, I did two separate orders. I spent a little over, but it's ok.

I got:
Galaxy Tab S5e tablet
Docking charge stand
Wireless earbuds
Backup battery charger

Personally.... Using my watch is really easy. I will miss MST but it is time my S3 is getting old.

That's unfortunate. My $50 pre-registration bonus has no product restriction. I just have to use it by the end of the year.
I just got the code from the ecommerce and they ended up sending me a $220 promo code instead of the sku specific $50. I'm not complaining. Ordered the silver aura buds, Usb 3.1 Flash Drive DUO Plus 256GB, usb c headphone adapter and a silver silicone case with it and paid 10 bucks after taxes. I should still be getting the $150 from Samsung as well.

That's just a place holder price. Samsung usually prices the LTE model 50 dollars higher. Based on the price of the Wi-Fi models it won't be more the Galaxy watch LTE models which are 375 and 399 respectively.

They don't have anything in stock, most of the colors of the silicon and leather case are out of stock. Even the ones which are on stock are shipping around September 27th etc. I guess best of to hold on to the coupon for a few weeks and see end of month if they all come back in stock and by then even watch 2 will be out of pre order to check if it'll apply the coupon.

For now not much use

Question. I got free Galaxy Buds with my preorder but should have another $22 to spend. I just received the phone 2 days ago. Any clue when that $22 will show up?

For anyone thinking about getting the galaxy active 2, I just got off the phone with samsung customer service, she said the galaxy watch active 2 sku was not out and not listed in the promotional listing for the note 10 offer so it can't be applied to the preorder or used even after preorder period is over. Nice job samsung

The credit had to be used at one time, the remaining balance would be forfeited.

I will wait and see.... Sometimes these reps know and sometimes they don't.

What is weird, I normally get a 30% coupon when I activate a new Samsung phone but didn't even get that this time!

I got one, wonder if it will work together. hmm. Only $69.99 or less. Since it's $150, we can't use it together. Darn.
