Samsung 5100 light flashing CD onstantly

[Android Central Question]

I plugged my Galaxy S9 into my 5100 external power pack (which had 75% power) and my phone didn't register that it was charging. Then the power level light started flashing arms it's still flashing despite nothing being plugged into it.

It sounds like a bad charging port in the S9, but no one can be certain without examining the phone.
