Samsung A3 screwed up, binary problem

[Android Central Question]

A friend bought a Samsung A3 from a guy and he hit factory reset and it requested an old g-mail account. We tried to do the basic thing from youtube to bypass but it didnt work. We took it to a guy who hooked it up on his computer for five minutes and gave it back. We then took it to another one and he said the it was ****ed up and the first guy must have hooked it up on Chimera and raised it from binary 3 to binary 4. I have no idea what that means but he gave it back saying he doesnt want to mess around with it. So i need to know what we should do with it.Sorry for spelling mistakes english isnt my first language.
