Question Samsung A9+ for very elderly mother-in-law

Hi My very elderly mother in law has been gifted a Samsung A9+ tablet. I want to configure it so that she can use it to do a few limited things: email, web, a few games, receive and look at photos etc. I would also like to be able to provide remote support. I want to lock down the device so she can't accidentally change any settings. I want to be able to access it remotely without her having to do anything. She currently has an ipad but there are weekly phonec alls trying to untangle what she has done! Suggestions please ...
