Samsung Chromebook Plus Touch Screen Issue

[AC Question]

My Chromebook plus touch screen will not work with my finger anymore and only works for the stylus. Have any others had this problem? I found one solution was to do a data refresh but not sure I want to take that extreme.

I am having the exact same issue. I have been looking all over for a solution and even reached out to Samsung on Twitter, Facebook, and Samsung+ but cannot get an answer. Were you able to find out what was causing the issue?

Mine has started doing the same thing. Stylus works on the screen but touching it with a finger does nothing. I have done 2 power washes and reverted from beta channel to stable and back to beta but nothing works. I have seen that some others have had some success by simply double clicking the power button but that hasn't worked for me.
Any fixes?

Having same issue... Samsung knows its a issue but will only allow you mail the tablet back to them and wait 14 days to return it... no other solutions... its a system error and they wont do the right thing
