Samsung.com Orders

I finally got tracking on our two phones placed midday 2/10. ETA 2/22. I am a little relieved now after seeing all of the delay stories. We just got black phones, which probably lowered our chances of of having issues.

I have noticed that while the phone shows 2/25 as a delivery date on the orders page, the extras are showing March 1st.

My wife's s22 ultra and my tab s8 ultra got picked up today for delivery on the 22nd.

Mine as well. It's coming from Irving, TX, and I live in San Antonio. Hopefully, it updates and comes Monday. We'll see. I'm just happy to see movement.

Yeah hopefully FedEx comes through and delivers your package early, I stay in Cali and we don't have a really good experience with FedEx delivering packages in our city so I'm hoping it does show up on the 22nd but my s21 ultra although it was in the delivery vehicle they ended up delaying it another day, right now I just got a notification that some tools I'm waiting for through FedEx got a weather delay but it shows they are in California and the city they're located in forecasts a sunny day lol

FedEx has the package. 2/22 delivery & Signature required.

Of course it's going to snow on the 22nd.

I'm wondering if direct signature will be required considering Covid. This is from the FedEx website dated 8-21-21:

Signature suspension notification
To help promote the safety of our employees and customers, FedEx signature guidelines are being temporarily adjusted for allshipments, with the exception of adult signature required (ASR) shipments. In efforts to minimize physical interactions, customers may be asked to verify recipient name in lieu of a physical signature. FedEx is still collecting recipient information; therefore, surcharges for these services will continue to be assessed. For shipments with the adult signature service option selected, couriers will still request a physical signature and require a government-issued photo ID.2 The safety and well-being of our 475,000 team members is our top priority as they continue to deliver critical goods and services to support communities across the globe.

Does anyone have recent experience with FedEx and signatures?

I received thie email 9/11/21:

FedEx Delivery Signature Update

As we continue to support the global supply chain, we’re committed to keeping customers, team members and your packages safe. We will reinstate effective September 15, 2021 our physical signature requirements for paid, premium signature services and commercial deliveries* across the U.S. for the following signature types:

• Adult Signature Required (ASR)
• Direct Signature Required (DSR)
• Indirect Signature Required (ISR)

The reinstatement of signature requirements applies to shipments delivered by FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground®, FedEx Home Delivery®, FedEx Freight®**, FedEx Office® and FedEx OnSite locations.

*If a signature service option is not selected by the shipper, and the recipient at a commercial delivery location refuses to sign for a shipment, the driver may enter the recipient’s first initial and last name and write “C-19” in place of the recipient’s signature.

**If the recipient at a commercial or residential delivery location refuses to sign for a FedEx Freight shipment, the driver may enter the recipient’s first initial and last name and write “C-19” in place of the recipient’s signature. This email has been sent to [Redacted my email].

Calling FedEx to confirm is probably the smart thing to do.

On a side note, are we going to get to see new pictures of Oakley?

I've had two different experiences and I think it depends on the driver. Most recently I had a driver ask me to sign for a package even though my apartment complex has parcel lockers. The time prior to that, the driver signed for the package as C.Covid and put the package in the parcel locker.

So I just got notified by FedEx they picked up my order from Samsung but in the status it says future delivery date requested....c'mon man!!

Hey guys I'm confused I want to place a second preorder. Anyways when using the app when I get to the 250 credit how do I purchase something other then what Samsung is "suggesting" on that page only?. If I add accessories individually it doesn't count.

Mine was picked up at 3:25pm Texas time.
ETA 2/22/22 before 8pm EST. :)

Mav.
