Samsung.com Pre-orders/Shipping Thread

Once I added my new address to FedEx which I kept getting errors it showed a package shipped for delivery tomorrow, then the Samsung site updated, lol.
 
anybody aware on how to send in the trade in?

I had the same question. I thought there would be some kind of packaging in the box I got today with the phone. I want to send that trade in to Samsung ASAP before I accidentally break it or drop it or something, LOL. :)
 
so I stopped at my local Safeway where I had requested the package to be delivered and they did not have it even though the FedEx app told me it was there. I spoke to the manager at Safeway and he said that has been happening a lot lately people are getting notifications that their packages are ready for pickup but were never dropped off by FedEx.

so I just checked the tracking andit shows at local FedEx facility and now it appears that it's been sitting there all day since 12:00 pm.

all you get from FedEx is empty apologies not real solutions. It would have been nice when I contacted them earlier in the afternoon if they would have contacted the local facility The facility would have located the package an offered for me to pick up at local facility due to their screw up of sending it to the wrong local facility to start with. (I had something similar happen with UPS a couple months back, within an hour The local depot called me Apologize for the screw up and asked me if I wanted to pick up my package today or wait till tomorrow)

so here is my rebuttal to FedEx....

Empty apologies don't make up for the fact that this has been totally screwed up not delivered by the the scheduled. I went to the local Safeway where pickup was requested they didn't have it also the manager at Safeway told me the last week or so there has been a pattern of the app telling people their packages are ready for pickup there but they didn't have the package and nothing was dropped off. A check of the tracking history as of 10pm now shows it's been sitting at Baltimore local facility all afternoon and evening. It would have been nice earlier in the day if someone would have located the package and called me and admitted FedEx screwed up(which as you can tell from the tracking history because Crofton is further from my house than Baltimore) and offered for me to pickup my package at the depot with a valid id, because now it's apparent by the so called tracking system that's been sitting there all day.. Ups would have called me in a timely manner apologized and at least offered for me to pick up at the local Depot for the inconvenience, but then again I have to face the reality that FedEx really has a lot of growing up to do when it comes to customer service and package tracking and delivery efficiency because they simply aren't good at it.


I'm done ranting for the night it's been a frustrating and I'm ready for it to be over
 
Finally home and opened my box and I'm already bothered. Is ATT again forcing their own boxes? I though we were over this....

Oof, Fedex is about the worst for sure. I called them yesterday and asked what I could do since I wouldn't be home to sign for mine. They said it would be available at walgreens and I would get a call. Worked perfect as I had a client to be at in my city. Well no phone call, but thankfully it was there.

Earlier in year I had ordered a memory foam mattress from Zinus who exclusively uses FedEx. Well the mattress made it here to my state then bounced over to the next state over (I am like an hour and half from the border) and I called FedEx numerous times as the package got stuck, no one ever returned my calls, I had to keep calling in. Zinus was of no help either, it took 2-3 weeks of calling and pestering every day before Zinus gave up and sent another mattress which did get delivered. I was like how the heck do you loose a memory foam matters, the box is not exactly tiny.

I was definitely nervous when I got the shipping notification and it required a signature, I was expecting a huge debacle with FedEx and getting it as I am going on vacation tomorrow out of state.
 
I agree, every phone gets returned by someone. Heck I've bought, returned and then bought the same phone back again and while later.

Lol. Yeah. It happens. It's life. I've never returned a phone and gone back to it later but I've done that with other things so I understand🙂
 
Finally got my shipping notice a few minutes ago. Getting really tired of this crap every time I preorder. Enjoy your phones everyone. See you in the next preorder thread.
