Samsung.com Pre-orders/Shipping Thread

Do they send out a box for the trade-in? Anyone have any issues with Samsung "never recieving" it? That's what is really concerning to me. They get thousands of phones and I dont want to play the game of I sent it back etc etc.

Make sure you follow their instructions exactly. I usually take a video/pics of the phone while im packing it up. Then when I drop it off, I make sure I get a receipt. I have done this like 4x and never had a problem. *knock on wood*

Yes, it's important to document everything carefully, just in case.
 
On Wednesday night I ordered the unlocked Note 10 Skittles, getting a leather case, wireless charger, and the 10,000 mAh portable battery. I was interested in ordering some AKG headphones but it told me they were unavailable. :( I suspect it might have been better to get the credit but I like leather cases and wanted the protection for my phone from day 1.

And I'd love it if it ships early. I'll likely have them hold the phone, and pick it up from their Customer service center.

They will email a shipping label, but don't recall sending shipping box. You have to send it in your own box. Make sure you package it well with video proof/photo proof with IMEI that there was no damage etc and condition of phone is good. There are horror stories about trade in but the few times I have done it went smoothly. They took time to complete the trade in but they accepted without issues.
 
So cancelled and now after reordering saying eta is Sept 4th. Should of just kept my original order. SMH

You may be able to walk into your store and purchase one on the day of release. Our ATT store has had units on launch day the past 2-3 years.

Not sure what the deal is but when I click the pre-order email link I get to a page that only has a $300 trade-in for Note9 for some reason on the Samsung page. I guess I can always go to BB instead.....am I doing something wrong or is link taking me to a different Samsung page?

You have to choose to buy the unlocked model to get the $600
 
Thanks....yeah I just was changing phone options and saw that. With Verizon Note 10 the trade is lower, but it looks like I would get the higher trade in value if I purchase unlocked. Should I care about buying unlocked vs Verizon? I know some things might not work on unlocked, like wifi calling and some other Verizon type apps.

If they don't, just flash the Verizon firmware on it. I think the extra $300 would be worth it.
 
Yeah, I will never enter another carriers store again after the note 7 debacle. I preorder online every year for a reason. Right now wishing I just stuck with preordering with my carrier. Should of known better going w Samsung, if you have a problem its like talking to a wall in my experience with them. I'm still waiting on promo preorder gifts from 2017 from them (not really waiting, dont even want it now but its kind of funny as its still in my orders). Smh

Try and online chat with them... keep asking the same question until the Sammy Bot turns you over to a person... maybe you can get a credit for something they never shipped you.

Oh I tried that back then as well as a ridiculous call chain, speaking to supervisors and service tickets. Tried it all. Not worth anymore of my time and I got another with another preorder anyway which I used maybe once. 20190809_141123.jpeg

If you were on here during the Note 7 disaster you might remember my fiasco with tmobile to get my Note 7 refund that took FIVE Months because of incompetence and idiots at Tmobile.

It was to the very point I was in the stages of contacting local news reporters and the attorney general as well to get a refund until I tried Tforce one last time and they figured out what I had to do for my refund. Tmobile wanted to eventually refund me in monthly bill credits at one point. I paid in cash for the Note 7 at Tmobile. Now I only order via Samsung and maybe Amazon if they quit using the postal service to deliver phones. I don't trust USPS and I buy unlocked too since tmobile features worked with unlocked models. I wont buy another phone at Tmobile.

You get the award for the most complicated and nerve wracking upgrade experiences. All that changes with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ pre-order. (We'll speak it into existence!)

Although this is my 1st pre-order, I've never had an issue walking into my local AT&T and grabbing a note. I've been at it since the N3. So many bad in store experiences is sad. The consumer keeps the doors open, but sometimes the reps act like they're doing YOU a favor.
