Samsung.com Pre-orders/Shipping Thread

You get the award for the most complicated and nerve wracking upgrade experiences. All that changes with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ pre-order. (We'll speak it into existence!)

Although this is my 1st pre-order, I've never had an issue walking into my local AT&T and grabbing a note. I've been at it since the N3. So many bad in store experiences is sad. The consumer keeps the doors open, but sometimes the reps act like they're doing YOU a favor.

The original reps at the tmobile store were the original ones who screwed up the refund process. Then tmobile customer service was terrible and incompetent on top of it. They kept sending me back to the store over 30 miles away 3 times.

I don't even really want to talk about it. I'll just buy from samsung, best buy or Amazon for now on.
 
Pre ordered through Samsung for the first time. With trade credit for the Note9 I have, and the $200 in credits, it was too hard to pass up. So, might trade my S10+ for a Pixel 4 down the road.

Aura White 256gb, duo charger, 10k mAh battery pack, flip view cover, and silicon case. Fingers crossed for an early shipment!
 
Samsung doesn't seem to want my business. Tried the email link to pre order but everytime I check out I keep getting "We are unable to to process your request at this time. Please try again later, we apologize for the inconvenience"

Anyone else ever encounter this when ordering from samsung.com? I've chatted with support, nothing they suggest has helped :(
 
Make sure you follow their instructions exactly. I usually take a video/pics of the phone while im packing it up. Then when I drop it off, I make sure I get a receipt. I have done this like 4x and never had a problem. *knock on wood*
The pictures and video don't prove much unless you can demonstrate that it's the actual unit going in the box. Maybe capturing the IMEI number. Not saying you didn't do that but some might not realize it.
 
Any chance that it ships before Aug 21st? A week from now the usual people will start going nuts about when their phone will ship.

I ordered Aura Glow unlocked Note 10 Plus (I'm on Xfinity Mobile), 256gb, $600 trade in for my Note 9 $200 credit "will be emailed 10s after shipment."

Call me one of the Usual Suspects. I go crazy every new Note. I preorder. I have to have it, right away! I mark the days off one by one, like I'm a prisoner doing 20 years. Next August, it will be the Note 11. Or the Fold. Whatever is the greatest, newest....I'll have to have it!!

a few reasons, are you doing it with samsung financing? if so are you doing the upgrade every year? did you just cancel an order while using the upgrade every year? if so thats why. You have to wait 24 hours for it to reset.

Had to cancel my original order to make better choices lol

I got the N10+ 512GB. Was disappointed though because there was no color choice but Black Aura! Got $200 credit and ordered accessories - Fast Charge Wireless Stand, Wireless Charger Portable Battery 10,000mAh, silver, 45W USB-C Fast Charging Wall Charger Black, Galaxy Note 10 Rugged Protective Cover in Black and Galaxy Buds, True Wireless Earbuds in White. Total with $414.97 in savings $1198.09!
 
So why wont we likely get it 5-7 days earlier than everyone else like some of the past devices the last 2 years? Is it the way the release date falls on?

I'm into weather and the GFS model long range shows a hurricane near me on Aug 23! Remember Irma and the Note 8? It got to Miami before the storm but UPS stopped all shipments. I had to wait about a week after Irma hit to get my Note 8. What happened is the day before my phone for some reason wasn't loaded on the plane. So the next day it was flown to Miami instead. Otherwise I Would have got my Note 8 before Irma. I was more worried about my Note 8 during Irma than my house lol. I live in Punta Gorda FL. A day before they were predicting Irma to be near me with 140mph winds and 15ft surge.
 
Try the shop Samsung app.

App doesn't work either, I get the "something went wrong, try again" Everything goes well up to check put, then nothing. No matter what CC# I use, pick no accessories, don't select trade in etc, still same error. Of course CS is no help, keep transferring me around, but nobody seems to know why. I see a few complaining about canceled pre orders, cc refusals etc on the Samsung discussion board.
 
Looks like pre order dates already started slipping back if you didn't order and ordering now. Was just playing around the shop Samsung app and for the unlocked model Note 10+ it now says ships by Aug 30th in the final check out page. Only for the black color it still says ships by 23rd for the unlocked model.
Obviously, it'll be different for carrier models.

I already have pre ordered on the first day itself even before the pre order opened because I had reserved it and my orders will be delivered by August 23rd.

But I was just checking in general and even today morning on the shop Samsung app it still says Ships by August 30 for all unlocked model colors except black at checkout. Probably they are getting more pre orders of all colors except black at this point which is not surprising.
Again it might be nothing and just a conservative date who knows but just thought it was interesting.
