For those worried about not being home for FedEx delivery or don't want the box sitting by your door for hours, you can redirect the delivery to your nearest Walgreens and pick it up at your convenience.

Really? I have never heard of that? How do you request it?

I'm betting it is. I'm also betting the phone and accessories scheduled to arrive 8/23 will ship Sun/Mon, 2 day delivery and arrive 8/21 also

My tablet is on the way however The only thing I have under manage are vacation hold and delivering instructions there's no link to redirect to my local Walgreens

I typically request it when it first actually ships, before any delivery attempts. As to how far away -- the idea of the Walgreens delivery, as I understand it, is to provide a holding point that is closer to your home than a Kinko's/FedEx store.

As for shipments that require a first attempt at the actual address, I'm guessing you would have to wait until after the first attempt but I don't know.

It may not be available in your area. I'm guessing not all these options are available in all areas.
