Because they are cheap.. their contract rate with FedEx per package is so cheap it's probably only 80 cents dif. Don't you know that extra 80 cents is going cause them to go broke??? Gotta remember this corporate America.

If that's an accurate figure multiple it by the amount of phones sold and it adds quite a bit to their margin.

Still nothing on my end. Not even my freebies have shipped. I really need to stop checking , but if by chance they try to deliver the phone tomorrow I want to make sure I'm up for it. I will not have a repeat of the stolen note 9.

Just going to say this again. FedEx hasn't moved and credit card wasn't charged because I know there is no money there. So it's very strange that FedEx pickup up package yesterday without Samsung charging my card. Also only shows phone and wireless charger as shipped, other 2 accessories haven't shipped yet at all.

We kind of already know that but the most annoying thing about Samsung is a force us into this free shipping on pre-orders I would gladly pay an extra five bucks or even 10 bucks for UPS. simply for the peace of mind when it comes to tracking UPS my choice giving me a 4-hour window and the option to buy a 2-hour guaranteed window for delivery

I'm guesstimating because I don't know what their rates are I know my rate at work there's not much difference between two day standard overnight and priority overnight

I agree, FedEx is the worst shipping company. I'd take UPS or USPS any day over FedEx. I constantly have issues with FedEx, sometimes they don't even leave the package when I am home, just slap package notification paper on the door and leave.... It's crazy

Agreed. Especially the patented label n' leave. I once put a huge paper saying, "FEDEX, RING THE DOORBELL, I'M HOME!"

Did it work? No. They stuck a label on my door and left.

Edited - phone and charging stand show shipped on Samsung site - expected delivery 8/23 - me thinks they lie - 8/21 sounds better. Tracking number doesn't show up on FedEx site yet - great - now I can sit here all night until it does.

Edited 2 - Showed up on FedEx with a Thursday 8/22 expected delivery date - no complaints from me after all the canceling-reordering i did - none at all.

Now my work here is done - good night wonderful world -

Not bad. I didnt cancel at all and mine isnt coming until Thursday as well. Ordered 8/8 and some people that ordered after me are getting it a day before me.
But it is what it is. We are all getting the phone

After sitting in a FedEx truck or hub since Sunday at 5PM it is finally on the MOVE .
