Samsung.com Pre-orders/Shipping Thread

Anyone else see that Samsung now has a bundle with the 45w charging brick, portable wireless charger, and 15w charging stand for $150? Man, I wish they had that bundle when I ordered.

Yes, that would have been nice. I have that same combo ordered, but it's with the old style fast wireless charger (which I have plenty of).

I think I'm a nice person but I really don't care for FedEx, I've had too many issues with them. To give you an example, the last phone I ordered was marked "delivered" about 8 PM -- but there was no knock on my door, no package, nothing. I even contacted the company that I didn't receive my package.

The next day (luckily I was home), I opened the door about 10:30 or 11 and the package was on my doorstep -- no knock on the door, and of course there could be no notification since the package was already "delivered." It appears the driver ran out of time on the day it was supposed to be delivered, so marked it "delivered" and then delivered it the next morning.

I appear to be at the end of a FedEx route -- I've had several issues with FedEx claiming the package was "undeliverable" or "no one home," despite my being home waiting for it that I just expect it anymore. And it isn't anything to do with how I treat drivers as I never see them -- either packages are "undeliverable," at which point I typically arrange to pick them up, or now I almost always request a Walgreens pick up.

I generally don't have a problem with FedEx but in any corporation there can be dishonest employees. My last delivery that was specified for Walgreens pickup didn't get dropped off because "no one was home"! It was a 24 hour Walgreen's. Obviously, the driver just wanted to go home.

Oh wow you and I have almost identical experiences! But it's reversed for me. FedEx has always delivered early to my address, and just never had an issue! But UPS is exactly opposite! I'm at the end of their route, and they always find some "exception" to not deliver, after I've waited around for them for hours. Anyway, I'm always nice to the drivers who show up and deliver my orders, no matter which company it is. I think kindness goes a long way. Even if it doesn't, that's just the way I was raised!

Yes it does. Being retired I usually greet the drivers, talk to them about things and offer them a few $$s for coffee, a cold drink, or whatever.

It is called being kind and respectful - or bribery - take your pick

That's a great idea - bribery! And, I'm retired, too. But, I live 15 floors up, so I don't know when they're coming and going.
