Samsung.com Pre-orders/Shipping Thread

Mine was just delivered at the Walgreens, now im debating to go pick it up bring it to work or waiting till after work. aahhhhhhh
 
Woohoo. They took my signed note I left for them but it didn't matter b/c my kids' sitter was there anyway. But she was able to get all my goodies off my doorstep. Now I just have to drive home and run some errands then enjoy some aura glow goodness.
 
I know that you're right but just a couple of quick responses will confirm what's going on. I'll find them and I'm sure someone will start a whole new thread about it (as they do every year with every unlocked phone).

So I called Samsung to try and find out what is going on with my phone since I haven't even been charged yet and I ordered on the 8th (actually the 7th still). The automated thing says there is a 1.5 hour wait time so I hit 1 to have them call me back when its my turn... hour and a half goes by.. they call me back.. I talk to a guy long enough for him to look at my account and he says "well sir the orders are subject to demand and availability for colors" and I cut him off and said "yeah that's great but I ordered literally minutes after the preorder went up and people who bought there's 4 days ago are receiving them already.." and then the call "dropped" or he hung up. So now I'm waiting another hour and a half for a call back again.

Interested to hear what happens when you get your second call back..
 
As of 1:15 p.m. my business with Samsung has been completed. I had a successful first run with this thing they call pre-ordering. My phone and freebies have all been delivered, and they are at home safe and sound. NOW I can pay attention to the problems of the people who sit across from me. However, you all are still near and dear to my heart, so I shall check in until each and (almost) every one of you has been taken care of by Samsung. See y'all this evening! *smooches*

I know you're still playing with it. How about the visual voicemail? Wi-fi calling? Any other features you have noticed missing?

Total aside: I haven't had visual vm (or any vm for that matter) since June, it turns out, on my Note 8. I just realized last week that I hadn't received any messages after someone tried to leave a vm and told me it said vm was out of service. Xfinity submitted a help ticket to Samsung, because they can't fix it.

Visual voicemail was working on my Note 8 that I brought over from ATT

Never cut off the person you're asking for help. I know you're frustrated, but that agent is only doing what he was trained to do...even if it's wrong and not helpful. Hopefully a more informed agent will call you back.
