Samsung.com Pre-orders/Shipping Thread

Just for kicks I did a Samsung chat and asked them why my order is delayed till Sept 10th and they took about 10 minutes to check with the warehouse. Guess what they found out?????

My expected delivery is September 10th. Now THATS customer service.

I experienced the same great service and I answered their surveys accordingly. I ordered Aug. 11th and had a 9/4 ship date. Tonight I finally received a SHIPPED! notice. Will be here Thursday. Happy to get it before the long weekend, but the planning and service was lacking like never before.
 
I’m guessing in reality, that 9/10 delivery date will probably come closer to 9/4 or 9/5. Ya know almost 2 weeks after release date on a “preorder”.

That's so annoying!!! Pre ordering and we get them later. I feel like all people who pre order should get the phone and then after those have been fulfilled, ship them to stores. Sooooo many people have gotten them from store and pre order people are still waiting.

You also got my hopes up with the first part of your post. I also have a phone that is expected to be shipped on the 10th.

Oh damn! Yeah I have the Aura Glow on preorder and my local Best Buy has the Black and I’ve thought about it, but then I lose out on my free Galaxy Buds. Guess I can wait another week or two. Ugh.

That's the only reason why I didnt get it in stores, that 200$ credit for accesories was too good.

I actually originally got a Glow. Then I cancelled and got a black. Then I decided that I actually really wanted a Glow so I tried to cancel the black. It was too late to cancel. It got shipped to me. It arrived yesterday and was IN MY HANDS.

But, I decided not to settle. So I refused it and returned it to sender. So now I'm waiting again. Till the 10th (preordered on the 22nd). Hopefully sooner than that. An interesting opportunity to practice patience.

Oh that’s super brutal! Yeah I definitely tried to will myself into getting the black as it looks great. But I just couldn’t do it. Glow is the color to get this year. Then next year we’ll all be sick of crazy colors and we’ll get the black again

I ordered the white and I'm still stuck , I can barely imagine how glow is doing.

Wow. I would have thought that a white would process fairly quickly. It feels like everybody and their mama got the Glow. It'll be here soon.

Why are you upset? You didn’t order when preorders first opened. Then they gave you an estimated date based on supply... beat that date and the customer is upset?

Hes just stating the service overall was lacking, he doesnt seem upset about getting it. I agree the service has been horrible this time around. I pre ordered a couple of hours before it was opened to the public and still have nothing, the customer support cant do much besides raise tickets and that's what's unfortunate about the situation.
 
Update: got an email saying its shipping before or on September 6th apparently... anyone else from 9/10 got an email or something?
 
Pre ordered 8/16 aura black 512gb on sprint. Expected delivery date was 9/5. Got email saying it was expected to ship on or before 8/30. Delivery date still says 9/5? I want my phone!
