For people who plan to use Rakuten for 15% cashback.
They did not apply any cashback to my order. The reason... using the coupons not listed on Rakuten. Dah! The only discounts I have on this order are the promotions Samsung provided for preorder.
Anyone else had this issue?

Is that the reason they gave you? It never works for me every time I do it with them despite me getting a pop up saying that the rebate is in the works and will be processed that day (never does). I always have to email them and they do their standard 45 day review but they usually give it. It's so annoying that sometimes I don't do it because of that. But if this is a reason they are giving out - that would be a first for me and I'll be angry.

More confusing, on the website (not within the app) it doesn't say my order is backordered and it's still on track for 2/17. So only in the shop Samsung app am I getting that.View attachment 350977

I'm in the exact same boat with the 512 lime. Shop app shows backordered with no date but website says 2/17. I did find it strange that if you go to place a new order it shows no delays also. Hopefully it's just the app and we get good news soon!

Worked for me too! I got cash back 100 and something plus 10 for joining and 30 cause hubby used my link.

The Samsung exclusive colors seem to be the first to go on backorder. In my experience the order page status is the one that's more accurate for shipping and delays. IMO, if you want it right away I would go the black, that's probably the color they make the most quantity of.

You can do what I've done in the past, order both and the one the cancel button goes away first you can cancel the other one.

Did you use any pre-order discount and trade-in? They stated because I already have other non-Rakuten discounts, the cashback cannot be provided. I'm using Rakuten for many years with Samsung and a discount from Samsung was never an issue. I actually tried to cancel and re-order and it still didn't work.

Yes, I had the $100 credit, $55 trade in and Healthcare discount. I have not had issues with it before. I know I have run into issues on other sites with my capital one discount or other discounts. I usually try several to see which one is the best and it will make the Rakuten discount disappear and then I have to start over on my order to get it back if it is better than the others.

Mine worked also with 150 accessory credit $35 healthcare dscount. I think trade-ins for the 22 Ultra it comes to 699 mine was 664. Plus Rakuten which came to 140 something almost 150 . And I consider that with the free memory upgrade a decent deal even though we still paid more than I wanted. I look at it as getting the phone for half price. Oh and I forgot about the buds I may sell those for another $150 to cover my case and screen protector.

How long does your ratuken credit take to show up on ratuken account? I placed a order but it isn't showing up on ratuken.

You get 15% back on the purchase price correct? With the education discount it says $664.99, so I figured the 15% is of that price

It's not really how long it takes to show up on your account - that part is pretty fast or at least overnight - but rather how long until pay out occurs. And that my friends is quarterly so be prepared for a wait...

Grrrr....I did it. Unlocked 512gb Titanium. I figure I've got plenty of time to back out of the deal if I get buyer's remorse. I just didn't want to run the risk of losing the $150 accessories, free memory upgrade, and Rakuten 15% vs waiting to see if trade in value increases. I also said if the Titanium goes on backorder before mine is shipped, I'll cancel. I really don't need this phone. Ugh...

I ordered on Samsung thru ratuken, Samsung sent me order confirmation email and I received the payment confirmed email from Samsung. Nothing from ratuken yet. I'm hoping to get that soon as I have to decide if I'm going to keep the Samsung order.

I've been reading thru the comments and started playing with the ordering process. I'm at $765 and that's with buds pro 2 added to the order. With getting the ratuken $100 which I will send to Samsung financing I'll be down to $665.

I have one ordered thru Verizon also. With the taxes, activation and 3 years of payments I'll be at $325.

I have to make a decision. Do I stay with Verizon or go to the Samsung deal. So for $340 more I can go with Samsung, get ear buds pro 2 and not be tied down for 3 years. I don't need the ear bud pro 2. I also got another $50 coupon code sent to me because they couldn't convince me they gave me the reserve credit, so they gave me another one, I get that whether I stay with Samsung or not. I'm half way debating about ordering again thru ratuken and using that code.

So is it worth $340, $290 if you take the discount code into consideration to not be tied to Verizon for 3 years and a bonus of the ear buds

I had the same experience this morning. I was going to place my order but on a whim decided to back out of it and sign up for Rakuten and give the 15% discount a shot and it worked. I had no trade in so my cash back is pretty decent.

Ratuken only gave me $100 accessory credit. I would have had to go thru Samsung to get the $150. Which is probably why Samsung was insisting I got the $50 reserve credit. Lol

I see a few have had Rakuten issues. It seems like every year, the entire process is hit and miss. From preorder, discounts, shipping speeds...all the way to Samsung receiving and accepting trade ins. May we all have speedy and theft free deliveries!

I just did another order thru ratuken. This one showed both discounts. It was $100 cheaper then my first one as I used the $50 coupon they sent me. So now I feel like I got everything. Hopefully ratuken does it's thing. I see the order listed on ratuken so there's hope

Yes my price was $664 after my work healthcare discount of $35. And then I saw my money in my account shortly after and it was like $101 and then I got $10 for being a new member and then the next day I got another 30 cuz my husband used my link when he joined Ratuken.
