I personally would go unlocked if it's not a financial hardship. There's just something about being "forced" to stick with a carrier to get a good deal that rubs me wrong.

Got my preorder in, lol, just now posting. I must say I was not happy with the carrier trade in/deals on samsung. In past could use samsung financing on phone, now only unlocked. T-mobile deal, while good if you have the magenta max, for those of us on say magenta 55+, only $360 credit vs $1000. Came close to passing this year. Finally did unlocked.
It's not really my concern of carriers as where I live there only 2 choices which only one works for me. I'm more against the é years of being tied to Verizon. It's a mental thing as I'm not going anywhere.
If ratuken goes thru us $254 more and I get ear buds pro 2 also. I'll probably stay with Samsung if I can get verification that ratuken goes thru. It comes unlocked, so I won't have to flash the unlocked firmware on it either

Yes there's actually 2. The first order I cancelled and the second order that's live. Everyone has said they are getting emails from ratuken after the purchase is all, I have not

I did not get email from rakuten either. So I contacted them. They said my order from samsung did not come in. So I had to send them my order confirmation, price, how much I pd etc. I have not heard back from them yet

Well it says 2 to 3 days so I'll see what happens tomorrow. I just thought there would be a email is all. Maybe being Sunday is the issue

Maybe things are moving a bit faster this year. I have capital one and when I pre-ordered it deducted the full amount right away on my card. Then like in the past went back onto my card again and now it was just charged back onto my card. Usually they deducted it to see if the card works then refund your card and then charge it again right before it ships. Anyone else have this quicker this time around?

Seems to be moving faster this year. Hopefully get them before 13th but very doubtful.
How is the status going for you now? I ordered and said 17th, today it does backordered. Did it change back?Unlocked graphite now backordered? My order said receive by February 17th yesterday, and even right now it doesn't show a delayed date if you try ordering an unlocked graphite

It's probably just a glitch. Their order page so does 17th.

I'm in the same boat and I think it's just a glitch in the shop Samsung app. When I log into my account is still shows delivery on the 17th but on the app it says backordered. I did not receive any email from Samsung that there was a delay yet. My card has the charge on it already as well but I still have the cancel button and no FedEx label created. I'm hoping for some movement today since it's Monday but who knows. The suspense of these preorders!

Ikr! I swear my finger hovered over that cancel button last night. This morning I said if it doesn't go on backorder, there's no harm in getting it, comparing it to the S22U, then sending it back.
