if the Buds Pro are the 3rd gen buds, and i currently already have the 2nd gen buds, may i ask what differences there are between the 2nd gen buds and the 3rd gen Buds Pro please?

Ordered a S23 Ultra this morning during the Unpacked event. Did the free memory and storage upgrade, got the 512 MB/12 GB RAM model in Phantom Black. Traded in my S22 Ultra (yes I was disappointed with the $500 trade-in amount, although we got an additional $100 instant credit so it was more like $600- still $200 less than I was anticipating).
Used Rakuten while making the order and got the 15% cash back. Used my $100 accessories credit too.
I didn't realize we could use the accessories credit on Samsung Care +. Might do that next year as I have pretty much all the accessories I need.
Was pleased that after the website was initially glitching for about the first 20 minutes of the Unpacked event, that after that I was able to make my order with no issues.
Also ordered a Tech 21 Evo Tactile case, a three-pack of the AmFilm screen protectors and the ESR back camera protectors.

So are you saying if you just get the phone only you get $100 accessory credit now instead of 50? I still would like to do it but I'm going later on they have a better trade in once they realize a lot of people aren't doing this one.

mmm...why would they wait till the 17th if they already allow pick ups at certain brick and mortar Samsung locations? stop keeping them in your warehouses and ship them out to us!
I've learned that if you order right at launch you typically don't get the extra $50 accessories credit for pre-registering for the phone. So I would have had $150 to spend if I waited until later in the day, instead of $100. Oh well.

Good to know I have the buds live they were ok but don't like how they feel in my earI got those with the ZF4 and they are pretty awesome IMHO.

I'm just the opposite. The Live are the only ones I like because they don't go in my ear. They kinda just sit on the outside of the inside. If that makes sense, lol. However I'd added the Pro2 b/c that's the only thing I might use. I've got the W5 and chargers.

I was limited with 150.00 credit so I said why not try the bud pro I have the Pixel bud pro and sounds great and like the feel

While the price of the device stays the same, the trade in is reduced, so you're still paying more for the device. We ain't dumb Samsung! Lol! I took a quick peek at last years order, and yeah. I'm not paying more right out the gate. Maybe something will change later.
