Samsung confirms Galaxy Note 8 launch for August 23

For me I'm just going to put verizon wireless for phone carrier type. I'm sure that is what they wanting. So you probably should put whatever company you are with:*)

That was my problem. It only allowed me numeric characters. I got one email & so did my husband. On mine I just put the phone number a second time. For his I put his IMEI. Probably will have them both rejected :/

Yeah sorry I can't be much help. I did end up putting my phone number in and it sent me to a page saying thanks for entering. I guess we will see.

has anyone gotten an invite to sign up for the unveil in New York City on the 23rd? I got a email today inviting me to sign up for the unveiling on the 23rd up in New York they will pay for you and one other guest for a four-day event and of course they're only paying for 50 people so it's a contest of course, knowing I'm not going to win I signed up anyway. so if this is unveil does that mean that the phone won't be available until after that date?

I think its about a month from announcement day. The 8+ was announced Inthink March 23? I got mine fro ups on April 19

But I think that was the longest pre-order wait we've ever had on a phone I don't remember having to wait a month for one before. That's a little bit of a downer because I was expecting the phone to be available by the 23rd. So I guess I have another month or two now since the 23rd is not going to be the release date.

Now that I think about it, I should have filled out my entry on a desktop to see if I could put my carrier by name... I just used my ph number since I did it on my phone.

It's funny that we have no release date for this Note 8. I got a email from Samsung on the unveiling in New York on the 23rd of but it didn't even say what the unveil was for but the Note 8 is the only thing I can even think they would start this mysterious announcement! I want to preorder but nothing has been mentioned about that and all these reports say it's official, the release date is August 23rd, but no preorder date is even set so does anyone know what is real?

Well the release date is real because it came directly from Samsung. I am sure pre-orders will eventually start and you will see articles before hand.

I decided not to be the one but I knew someone would do this lol. I'm in no way trying to be mean but that picture was also in my 2 emails I got and soon as I saw the pic with the pen I knew it was note 8.
