Hey everyone,

I've found after using DeX at work all day, because the phone charges while connected, that my battery life when not on DeX seems to be dropping quick quickly during normal use. Anybody else notice that the DeX constant charging is affecting their battery life when not on DeX?

Are you using Dex connected to a Dex dock or Dex to PC? When I use Dex to PC it is charging but barely more than what Dex uses. The end result is that my battery after Dex is pretty much at the same state as before Dex. Battery life after Dex is normal for me.

DeX to PC. When I take the phone off charge in the morning I can lose 5% in about 30 minutes just from simple browsing. It's not critical but it is certainly draining faster since I've used DeX for PC for a 12 hour period at work. The DeX to PC actually charges the phone very quick, I'd say close to as fast as the stock Note 10+ charger.

Check device care: Settings->Device Care.

There may be something that is running in the background.

I have always found that after the first month or so of ownership the Note will drop a bit quicker the first 10% from 100 to 90 compared to the remaining 9 of 10% increments
